This is half-height expansion card so if you put it near your video card, there will be less restriction in airflow to the video card's fan.

It works! Just put it inside a PCI slot, turn on computer and you can use it. Build quality seems to be good. Everything is as it should be... What to write more? One of the most important Pro for me was the internal USB connector, which you can use to connect to a on-desktop connector or to some USB device you want to (and you can) keep inside. The speed definitely is 2.O.
