Drivers are already installed in the system if you're running XP with SP2. Easy to replace antenna to get even better range. Get about 60% signal quality from 40 feet away through 4 walls

Antenna Connector! No more moving to a better spot or trouble with distant APs - put the antenna where it gets a good signal instead of trying to put your laptop or desktop in an awkward place. This requires some modules and firmware, but they have been in the stock linux kernel for several years and should be in most distributions.
